NMI's boss becomes 'Mr MOM', leaves activism.
Dennis 'AP77' Mr Mom Slater’s taking a baby break and his recent mismanagement of NMI forums.
UPDATE: NMI is a bare bones skeleton org now with fewer that 3 postings in the forum a week by die-hard cheerleaders doing just about nothing for local neighborhood activism anymore !!
I find it extremely sad that Dennis Slater has decided make Old Preach (Don Silva) his NMI forum administrator while Mr Slater is ‘on hiatus’ while expecting his first baby next year. Old Preach has poor job experience record as a forum administrator position. As a matter of fact on his home forum SOS, Old Preach has demonstrated his own biased, unfair, unethical and corrupt administration for many years now. OP as an SOS forum staffer gives little guidance, seldom consults other forum staff, sweeps problems under the rug, and gives out conflicting confused solutions to their struggling general SOS members. There are MORE OP problems. Mr Slater leaving his control of the NMI forums, the real blame and the only person who can correct NMI BBS ‘glass house’ is Dennis Slater. OP’s staff actions towards general members are unethical, jingoistic, cliquish, and unprincipled. And that is deeply confusing and deceitful as NMI general members are maltreated when they express their own respectful opinions on how to improve the efficiency of NMI’s mission in their NMI forum posts. No criticism of any other illegal immigration group, no theoretical discussions of how to do their ‘secure the borders’ mission better, or no in depth critical analysis of their public events are NOT allowed on the NMI BBS. This entire situation smells of those in power wanting to silence a dissenting voice. There are MORE problems. People who try to do post any meaningful suggestions are flamed by NMI forum staff members and after those ‘baited’ members are immediately unethically banned from their forums by the dishonest NMI staff. There are MORE problems. Seldom do recently ‘ban’ general members get the professional NMI forum staff courtesy to be shown exactly what was their forum-posting mistake. Posting any vague general suggestions on how to improve NMI mission are interpreted as negative by Mr. Slater or his NMI staff as ‘starting trouble’ and people are banned from the forum. I am truly beginning to believe the illegal immigration movement is one big ego club and that if you disagree or question anything about it, you are attacked, ostracized and made an outcast. I would hope that most people do NOT believe this saying, "Go along to get along, the end justifies the means", philosophy.
American Patriot 77 You TUbe account is filled with cute baby videos and not the neighborhood activism against Day laborer centers that got Slater so credibilty in the past. I wonder if Slater ever wipped that blood off his head and was his son born with the same hard head !
It is an excuse for NMI staff to get rid of bothersome general members and their beneficial ideas to help NMI. This is just a small sample of the NMI staff unethical dealings with questioning general members. There are MORE problems. Dennis Turner has set up this group and assigned the NMI staff to run it. There are MORE problems. Now, Dennis Slater has shown (with choosing OP = Don Silva) a seriously flawed record of picking his inept vicious personal friends for forum staff responsibilities. People are beginning to see that illegal immigration movement leaders want and need general members who ‘don’t rock the boat’ kind of a people. And Dennis Slater wants some time off from his clubs forum’s administrative responsibilities…I say choose someone…anyone else as forum AdM. Choose another from your existing staff. Old Preach is a bad selection. Old Preach as forum AdM is like putting a hungry fox in charge of the chicken coop!

D. Slater deceitful and NMI forum's heavily censored smear propaganda
Here is the story of one member who was smeared because they would not kiss D. Slater's ass and be a 'yes-man'.

I have respected you. I NEVER insulted you on the NMI forums.
You were insulted by Dennis Slater, who took over my 'Seenitall' account after banning me many months ago and impersonated me ( in that account name) to insult other MMI members on the forums.
This is a true fact.
The easy test for this simple fact is to see that Dennis is the only person who gets anything out of banning me and publicly smearing me by playing my sock 'seenitall' puppet on the NMI forums today. I have never publicly insulted you. That's not my style. I get nothing out of trying to make you aware of this fact. But, I really hate to see good people manipulated by Dennis Slater.
Here is what happened to smear me personally and to deceive you into being Dennis' clueless ally: Mr. Slater has been working overtime on banning me outof NMI since I was invited (three times) to re-join NMI months ago. I finally cautiously re-joined. I was forgiving of all the spinless trash that was Dennis said towards me and my reputation and I decidedto try to continue my work fighting illegal immigrationmission on that BBS by just ignoring Slater. Now, I know that was my small judgement error. Slater is supposed to be a PATRIOT! The Slater revenge campaign has began again. **Take a search/look at the NMI forums and review the "Joke" titled thread. Dennis impersonated me to write that harsh post calling NMI member, Mark 'rewhblcain' Cain 'an idiot'. I did not write that nasty harsh response....Dennis did. I would not use those terms. (**BACKSTORY TRUTH: Many days before, I had been quietly locked out/banned from the NMI forums earlier that week without notice or reason. That night of my quiet NMI banning, I wrote a NMI Private Message to several NMI friend members (using the NMI PM service) warning them about Dennis that Dennis isreading NMI's PMs and they are not really private since I know Dennis reads those PM's and then he can take vindictive harsh actions against the NMI member/writer because of the PM content he doesn't like after reading it.) When things were right, Dennis postedthe harsh 'an idiot' response to Mark 'rewhblcain'Cain to sickly impersonate me to get people to turn against me.

Many other NMI friends that have been emailing me privately knowing I was already gone/banned from the forum many days before by Dennis's sick spineless actions. Dennis' impersonating me in that posting (that un-charactistically was not me) post was a just public excuse so Dennis could publicly bann me off the BBS/forums for this lest little slight, NOT DONE BY ME. It was a gutless's act of a coward. Slater has done/said much worse (many times against meand my friends) with no drastic forum moderating forum actions. It seems that forum moderating ethics are not present in NMI forums. Dennis S. has had total control over my "seenitall"profile since quietly banning me and you can tell it when my 'seenitall' profile wass porting it's new insulting "gay" comments and dunce-cap pics. Sam 'SZ in westLA' Z has forum posted comments pointing that out to NMI member's. Dennis is only showing others his coward revenge on me and on my good reputation. Apparently, Slater will do anything to stay on top leading his no-conscience sheep. I won't be anyones sheep...Dennis' or Govt's or illegal or democrats'....PERIOD!
There is strict censorship at NMI forums. You really can't trust anything you read on NMI. Because Slater edits/censors threads out, he lies by impersonating NMI members saying ridiculous things or he cowardly inserts/adds his own biase comments to older posts against the original author if any the post's author member seems to be getting any positive attention/approval from other general NMI members. He is so jealouse of others and doesn't work well with members.

Last week Gilcrhist’s partner, Steve Eichler, had a nearly identical frivolous defamation lawsuit struck down. This week it was Jim Gilcrhist’s turn. The Attorney representing Barbara Coe, Dave Klehm, who filed his fee petition concurrently with his motion, was awarded $9,100 in attorneys’ fees!Attorney Daniel Lula representing the Minuteman Project Board Members, Deborah Courtney and Marvin Stewart will be filing a petition asking for a similar amount of money. This is a lot of money for Jim Gilchrist because he gets very little money in donations these days. By his own admission, he’s already burned through hundreds of thousands of dollars in fruitless litigation against Patriots.Chelene Nightingale of Save Our State, and I were served much later than the others so we have not yet had our day in court. We expect these frivolous lawsuits to be thrown out by the exact same Judges. Jim Gilchrist will again, pay our Attorney fees! Since I obtained free representation under my insurance coverage, this isn’t costing me a single dime.So Jim Gilchrist is paying for all these Attorney’s fee’s, including the expense of his own Attorney’s for filing these frivolous lawsuits. Anyone that has ever given Jim Gilchrist money in the past, needs to realize that it has all been pissed down the drain by a self indulgent con-man.The California court system really looks down on malicious prosecutions and the abuse of the court system. Jim Gilchrist lied in his defamation suits claiming the defendants, myself included, posted a photo of his drivers license on the Internet, along with threats of violence towards him. There are a lot of liars out there, so just because some California judge ruled that way doesn't mean crap as far as I am concerned. California judges (almost all liberal frauds) seem to rule in favor of bad guys (the law breakers themselves) more than victims all the time. Just look at what has happened with Jamiel's case, the Bologna case and many many more. I know for a fact that certain people have lied about things...so if I were some of the other Patriot's I would not necessarily believe all of the cat fight crap going on here. Be cautious is all I can say, be cautious! I see you are pretty good with Photoshop as well WatchDog.

No one has to lie about Gilchrist. He's done himself in with his own actions, but obviously you're not paying attention. Attorneys fees are often only a part (albeit the big ones) of the costs of litigation. I don't know how extensive your policy is and whether or not it covers depositions (court reporters, printing fees, etc.).Anyway, the success of the SLAPP motion in the other suit is a good sign for your situation.

I just hope all of this discourse just ends and goes away. There has been way too much bickering among people who are all supposed to be working for the same cause. I'm just as guilty for taking sides without fully understanding whats behind various peoples motives. I'm done with my share of it and just plan on going back down to help watch for invaders and leave all the soap opera to the people that thrive on that kind of stuff. I want nothing to do with it anymore.

I do have to say one thing about this. Watchdog is correct about JG wearing the Kevlar vest. By wearing it OUTSIDE his suit shows me that its more for show and attention that for safety. Besides by showing that he was wearing one invites a head shot, and I don't mean by cameras. Photo Op

I agree he has the right to wear it. It would just be better if he used it under his clothing for safety's sake. I know some guys in SOS that wear plate carriers at rallies and have pepper spray carried in drop leg rigs. It's pretty clear that one might expect more violence at rallies than actually down at the border (at times that is).
